About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Processor to join our Marine Site Characterisation (MSC) Client Deliverables team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing hydrographic data, generating GIS products, and charting for the Marine Site Characterisation business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process acquired survey data sets from various platforms, including vessels, AUVs, and USVs.
  • Ensure processed data is suitable for charting, reporting, and complies with the scope of work.
  • Generate survey data products compatible with GIS software.
  • Collaborate with Surveyors, Engineers, Geophysicists, CAD & GIS Specialists, and Project Managers to ensure effective survey equipment operation and efficient data collection.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A higher education degree in hydrographic surveying or a related geospatial or earth sciences subject.
  • Previous experience in hydrographic surveying and proficiency in post-processing software such as Caris HIPS & SIPS, Starfix Processing suite, QPS Software's, and ArcGIS.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work offshore, dependent on operational requirements.
