About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Processor to join our Marine Site Characterisation Client Deliverables team. As a Data Processor, you will be responsible for processing hydrographic data, generating GIS products, and charting for the Marine Site Characterisation business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process acquired survey data sets from various platforms, including vessels, AUVs, and USVs.
  • Ensure processed data is suitable for charting, reporting, and complies with the scope of work.
  • Generate survey data products compatible with GIS software.
  • Work closely with the team of Surveyors, Engineers, Geophysicists, CAD & GIS Specialists, and Project Managers to ensure effective survey equipment operation and efficient data collection.
Requirements
  • Higher education degree in hydrographic surveying or a related geospatial or earth sciences subject.
  • Previous experience in hydrographic surveying and experience with post-processing software such as Caris HIPS & SIPS, Starfix Processing suite, QPS Software's & ArcGIS.
  • Ability to work offshore dependent on operational requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
