Contract Role - Cloud Infrastructure Architect (DC/Datacentre, VMware, NSX/ACI) - Hybrid - 12 Months Initial - Outside IR35/Inside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect (DC/Datacentre, VMware, NSX/ACI) to support a part of our end client's new data centre build.

The ideal candidate should have recent experience—within the last 3 years or so—focused on private cloud, VMware, IAAS integration, migrations with NSX and ACI integration would be a bonus.

Essentially, someone who's been involved in building the platform rather than simply consuming it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for our end client's data centre build.
  • Collaborate with the core team to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team on cloud infrastructure-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, VMware, and NSX/ACI integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey technically complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with data centre infrastructure and banking/financial services background.
