Compliance Officer

As a Compliance Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reporting unsafe or unethical practices immediately through the appropriate channels.
- Proactively driving to eliminate unsafe situations or practices observed within the department.
- Actively engaging in regular performance and development conversations and acting on feedback.
- Understanding performance metrics, safety metrics, and practices for your team/department.
- Maintaining own training records within the company's quality management system (MasterControl).
- Supporting the department and wider business in preparation and during audits.
- Working with peers to ensure that staff training records are reflective of the roles that they are trained and capable of performing.
- Being the driving force that ensures all breaches of the QMS are documented and appropriate CAPA plans are created and implemented.
- Following defined processes to create a batch manufacturing record, print labels, use correct materials and equipment to create the required product.
- Conducting cGMP and GDP reviews of batch manufacturing records.
- Clearly and regularly articulating performance expectations for your team, openly recognizing exceptional performance.
- Providing an environment where suggestions for improvement are welcomed and team members can come to you to easily and safely raise issues.
Requirements:

- Has good literacy and numeracy skills, demonstrates good attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, record data accurately, and is comfortable using a computer, including email.
- Has manufacturing experience.
