We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Heating Engineer to join our team at Good Energy Group.


About the Role

This is a field-based role where you will support the installation of Air Source Heating solutions in customers' homes, under the supervision of a Heating Installation Engineer.

You will be responsible for assisting with the installation of heating systems, ensuring they are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support Heating Installation Engineers with the installation of heating systems
  • Assist with the delivery and demonstration of quality technical expertise to install Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely and to a high standard
  • Travel to customer sites, including overnight stays when required
  • Hold a current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing and Heating or similar qualification
  • Happy to travel and stay overnight when required
  • Previous installation experience, including hanging and connecting radiators
  • Knowledge of air source heat pumps
