Health and Safety Manager

Our client, a leading global manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced and empowering Safety professional to drive Health, Safety and Environment across their site in Chiswick, London.
About the RoleAs HSE Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Group HSE strategy and associated plans for the business. You will ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are up to date and followed, and that the business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of HSE with the development and implementation of the Group HSE strategy and associated plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and corporate requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the onsite HSE Advisor.
- Implement and nourish a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture across the site.
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
- Provide training to prevent accidents, conduct risk assessments, and investigate accidents/near misses.
A NEBOSH Certificate is essential, and a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is desirable. Prior Health, Safety and Environmental experience at a senior advisor or regional or managerial level is essential, with manufacturing/production experience ideally within a fast-paced environment like Food and Beverage.
