Job Title: Theatre Nurse/ODP - Scrub Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner/ODP to join our multi-disciplinary Theatres team at KIMS Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our theatre suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and implement patient care requirements and evaluate outcomes.
  • Work as a scrub practitioner, with the occasional need to work as an anaesthetic or recovery practitioner.
  • Ensure that your own practice and the practice of others is within an ethical and legal framework.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and smooth-running patient care.
  • Supervise and support junior staff members.
Requirements:
  • Post-registration clinical experience as a Theatre Practitioner/ODP in an acute hospital (NHS or independent).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and its application.
  • Experience of planning, organising and running the daily workload in a theatre suite.
