Job Description:

Vision for Education, a reputable education supply agency, seeks a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the Classroom Cover Supervisor position in our team based in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in teaching or working within a school environment.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be working with children across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), supervising pupils and delivering pre-planned lessons. The role involves providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence in local secondary schools across the Cumbria area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils across KS3 and KS4
  • Supervising pupils during lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence in local secondary schools
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and lesson plans

What We Look For:

  • A strong passion for working with children
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching
  • Ideally a degree, but this is not essential
