Taught by experienced teachers, our students receive an excellent education that prepares them for future success. We are now seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong commitment to professional development and making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils, providing support in the classroom to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a long-term role, initially offered on a fixed-term contract of one year, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and school needs.

  • Estimated salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individual and small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and development.
  • Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and behavior.
  • Promote the school's values and ethos within the classroom and beyond.
