Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Health & Social Care Lecturer to join our team at a reputable educational institution in Ashford. This is a temporary position until the end of term, offering a competitive hourly rate of £25.00 to £30.00, plus holiday accrual and weekly payments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Health & Social Care, with a minimum of level 3 qualifications and a level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, LST). They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons for levels 2 and 3, ensuring inclusive and up-to-date content.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to facilitate their success in the field.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements
  • Health & Social Care qualifications at a minimum of level 3.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, LST).
  • Experience within the Health & Social Care sector, with a focus on planning and delivering lessons to post-16 learners.
  • Experience of NCFE/BTEC qualification delivery.
