Senior Cardiac Physiologist

The Cardiology service at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a well-established and comprehensive department that provides a wide range of services, including implantation and follow-up of pacemakers and complex devices, cardiac catheterization, and non-invasive diagnostic examinations.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac rhythm devices and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a full range of invasive and non-invasive procedures within the Cardiac Investigation service.
- Participate in the training of junior members of the department, including Cardiac Associate Practitioners and Trainee Cardiac Physiologists.
- Work unsupervised in all areas and be responsible for the day-to-day running of any area in which they are working.
- Relevant BSc or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Intermediate Life Support certification.
- Post-qualification experience as a basic-grade Cardiac Physiologist covering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations.
