Senior Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Cardiology service, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of invasive and non-invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implantation, and device follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a full range of invasive and non-invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implantation, and device follow-up.
- Participate in the training of junior members of the department, including Cardiac Associate Practitioners and Trainee Cardiac Physiologists.
- Work unsupervised in all areas and be responsible for the day-to-day running of any area in which you are working.
- Contribute to the development of the Cardiology service, including the implementation of new procedures and technologies.
- Relevant BSc or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Intermediate Life Support certification.
- Post-qualification experience as a basic grade Cardiac Physiologist, covering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations.
- Ability to identify when emergency medical intervention is required and take appropriate action.
