About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and cook high-quality dishes to specification.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at pace with limited supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
