We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK in Gloucester, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first response and emergency service capability in respect of temporary rectification and permanent repairs to the facility. They will work closely with our experienced engineering team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile Risk Assessments & Method Statements for maintenance activities.
  • Compile and maintain all maintenance and repair documentation, including equipment service history documentation and unit defect log.
  • Conduct first- and second-line electrical/mechanical maintenance as required.
  • To carry out, or to contract to SQEP contractors, all maintenance and engineering activities for the site.
What We're Looking For:
  • Candidates should hold Electrical Low Voltage Authorised Person (LV AP) accreditation or be willing to work towards this on successful completion of probation period.
  • Competent in maintaining safe working environments especially in non-office environment facilities with diverse day to day operational hazards and risk to life.
  • Strong technical knowledge (mechanical/electrical) as relevant to the role.
  • Experienced with Risk Assessments, Diagnostics & Fault Finding.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £41,000 per annum, based on 40 hours per week. We also offer a range of benefits, including 23 days' holiday (rising to 27), the opportunity to buy extra leave, company matched pension, life assurance, a cycle2work scheme, 15 weeks' fully paid maternity, adoption and shared parental leave, paternity pay of two weeks, and plenty more.
