Job Title: Mechanical Technician Lead

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician Lead to join our team in Gloucester.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled engineer to lead our mechanical maintenance operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production facility, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Train and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and components
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Location: Gloucester
