The Graduate Trainee Manager Programme at GLL offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about leisure, sport, and fitness to embark on a rewarding career journey.

This two-year placement and development programme is designed to fast-track talented individuals into Assistant Manager roles and nurture the senior managers of the future. With a focus on leadership, customer engagement, technical, programming, marketing, and financial management, our programme provides hands-on work experience in all aspects of leisure provision.

As a Graduate Trainee Manager, you will undertake key front-line placements in year one, including concierge, fitness instructor, and lifeguard roles, followed by supervisory placements in year two, such as Duty Manager & Supervisor roles. You will also have the opportunity to complete strategic placements to support business projects, gain experience in HR, and strengthen networks with senior managers.

We are looking for candidates who are customer-focused, business-driven, committed to a career in leisure management, share our social enterprise values, flexible, willing to travel within the UK, hard-working, and a competent swimmer.
