We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Heartsease School in Norwich.

As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining commercial areas, ensuring all spaces are clean and tidy
  • Carrying out surface cleaning, floor maintenance, waste disposal, and bathroom cleaning, adhering to COSHH guidelines
  • Reporting any pest issues to senior staff members promptly

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school, office, or commercial setting
  • A good understanding of health and safety at work guidelines
  • The ability to prioritize your workload to focus on high-risk areas of cleaning first
