The HVAC / Piping category at Jacobs is focused on delivering high-quality engineering services to the Sellafield site. As an Area Engineering Manager, you will lead the development of engineering elements, coordinate delivery across disciplines, and ensure work portfolio is delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate with design teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assess new items on the worklist and define scope of work required.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance.
- Lead production of design Quality Plans and coordinate LFE across the category.
Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of Project System Engineering Delivery.
- Strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of engineering schedules to quality and cost.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage client team and integrated delivery team interfaces.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering early phase scoping activities and project initiation for multi-discipline asset care projects.
- Developing 'fit for purpose' project execution strategies for asset care type work.
- Provide evidence to underpin a SQEP assessment against SR0629.
