This role will support the delivery of our Transmission Capital Investment programme, working closely with project teams and the wider Transmission Investment team. As a trusted finance partner, you will provide robust financial control and commercial risk awareness to support decision-making, ensure compliance with financial policies, and drive business process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting large infrastructure projects at various stages of maturity within the Transmission business
  • Exercising strong financial control and demonstrating commercial risk awareness to support decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and taking a proactive approach to improving business processes
  • Providing robust challenge and support to project teams, ensuring they receive the necessary financial guidance
  • Delivering insight on the risks and opportunities in large capital projects, ensuring compliance with our obligations and corporate governance
