Our client, a renowned boutique wine estate nestled in the heart of Sussex, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead their culinary team. As a leading producer in the rapidly growing English wine market, they are committed to delivering an unparalleled dining experience that complements their exceptional wines.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000 plus generous tips, 40-48 hours over 5 days, Wednesday to Saturday, predominately daytime shifts. You will also enjoy social working hours with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off, parking on site, excellent staff discount on wines and estate products, and opportunities for professional development and training.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing menus that highlight local, seasonal ingredients, ensuring all dishes align with the company's wine experience and hospitality standards. They will also oversee the preparation and service for catered private events, delivering tailored menus that meet client expectations and enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef who has proven experience in managing kitchen budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and evenings as required. Up-to-date food hygiene certification and a thorough understanding of health, safety, and compliance regulations are essential.
