Building Fabric Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Fabric Operations Manager to join our team at Arcus Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of building fabric specialists, ensuring the quality of our work, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Manage a team of building fabric specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and general management to maximize staff capability.
- Ensure the quality of our work through effective management, both on and off site, and a thorough review process.
- Carry out various repair and renewal works to our clients' external and internal customer-focused areas, including patch plastering, protection, carpentry works, floor coverings, and wall tiling.
- Undertake surveys and produce scope of works, ensuring compliance with all H&S related areas, including skills-related training, accreditation, and effective H&S auditing.
- Coordinate suppliers to ensure operational success, maintaining tools and equipment, and validating correct data within Timetrack and information/schedules on Aeromark.
- Maximize production levels by ensuring efficient controlling of materials purchase, assist with financial and budgetary controls, and support the development and implementation of cost savings to the client.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken by all team members with the corporate Values and Behaviours in mind.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience of working in a supervisory position.
- Experience of working in a Building Fabric role.
- City & Guilds / BTEC Qualifications would be an advantage.
This position will involve working nights from Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday and weekend working may be required upon occasion. The post holder must be able to work flexibly, as determined by business requirements, and this may involve travelling to other regions within the UK or overnight stays, dependent on business demands. A UK driving license is mandatory for this role.
