Community Development Specialist

As an experienced Community Development Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our new Local Plan and managing infrastructure projects in East Cambridgeshire.
This full-time position comes with a salary of approximately £46,000 per annum, plus benefits. Based in Ely, CB7 4EE, the working pattern is Monday to Thursday (8:45 am - 5:00 pm) and Friday (8:45 am - 4:30 pm).
We are looking for someone with a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least 3-5 years' experience in project management and/or programme management on infrastructure and/or regeneration projects. You should also have experience in handling consultation on infrastructure and/or regeneration projects and coordination and preparation of business plans and funding bids.
The ideal candidate will have excellent partnership working, influencing, and facilitation skills, including political awareness. A positive team player who wants to deliver for the council and our communities, you should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
