Job Description

We are seeking a VAT Reporting Expert - Chester Location to join our VAT and TAX Team. As a VAT Reporting Expert, you will be responsible for managing VAT reporting compliance requirements for multiple markets within the Europe region and other international markets.

About the Team

Our VAT and TAX Team is dedicated to providing expert advice on VAT compliance related queries and maintaining a constant awareness of local VAT legislation. We work closely with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that VAT compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage VAT reporting compliance requirements for multiple markets within the Europe region and other international markets
  • Provide guidance on VAT compliance related queries and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a constant awareness of local VAT legislation and act as an internal consultant
  • 50% onsite work required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have VAT compliance experience in at least one jurisdiction in a multi-national tax environment or equivalent. International VAT/TAX experience is also beneficial. SAP or Oracle experience is advantageous, as well as excellent Excel skills and fluency in English.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £62,500 - £72,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, life assurance, and autonomy working.
