About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Development Lead to join our team in London.

The role involves supporting and challenging Associates to enable them to reach their full potential. Key responsibilities include having regular conversations with Associates, proactively managing issues, handling administrative tasks, and leading local orientations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mentoring, direct people management, and using Microsoft packages. A passion for creating a great experience for Associates, Apprentices & Trainees is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular conversations with Associates to understand workload, pressures, wellbeing and feedback
  • Proactively managing issues that arise, including exam fails, under performance, absence and wellbeing concerns
  • Handling numerous administrative tasks
  • Leading the local orientation for Associates, providing a first-class introduction to the firm
  • Working in close partnership with Associate Career Coaches and other Apprentice/Trainee Supervisors

Requirements:

  • Experience of mentoring and coaching others
  • Experience of direct people/line management
  • Experience of supporting and challenging others to help them reach their full potential
  • Confidence in using Microsoft packages
  • Passion for creating the best possible experience for Associates, Apprentices & Trainees
