Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our BDR operation in Rotherham. As a key member of our Shift Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Report all work carried out through our computerized maintenance management system.
  • Develop and implement a program of planned preventative maintenance and inspection to minimize downtime and provide records of recurrent faulting.
  • Anticipate machine failures and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence and reduce downtime.
  • Drive a culture of employee motivation and commitment, and develop a contract team capable of exceeding contract targets.
  • Assist the maintenance department in identifying annual lifecycle requirements and preparing capital applications and business case papers.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Apprenticeship, Electrical bias Multi Skilled Engineer with relevant qualifications (ONC/BTEC NVQ 3 discipline level, Electrical bias).
  • Waste Processing equipment knowledge preferable.
  • IT literate, comfortable using business software and systems.
  • Full UK car driving licence and live within a 20-mile radius of site.
  • Experience of FMCG type environment.
