Job Description:

Whitehall Recruitment LTD is seeking a Product Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for managing laboratory workload, leading a team of laboratory staff, and conducting practical laboratory work.

About the Role:

  • Manage laboratory workload in line with customer demands and business priorities.
  • Lead a team of laboratory staff, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Conduct practical laboratory work where required, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Ensure products comply with current legislation, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards, ensuring a clean and tidy laboratory environment.
  • Train laboratory staff to maintain technical skills and operate safe working practices.

About You:

  • A degree-level qualification in chemistry or a related field, with several years of industrial experience.
  • Technical background in paints and coatings, printing inks, and water-based technologies.
  • Experience in formulating coatings products and testing frameworks, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
