ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Programme Planner to join our team at D2. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering project programmes in accordance with client requirements, providing innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to ensure timely, high-quality outputs. Key responsibilities include developing project schedules, maintaining effective schedules, and building long-lasting client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver project programmes in accordance with client requirements.
  • Provide innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
  • Develop project schedules and maintain effective schedules.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships, providing "best in class" service.
  • Provide support to junior/intermediate planning engineers to aid in delivery of the above.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status (or working towards this) and/or educated to degree level.
  • Ability to communicate the programme to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of schedule integration on large multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of baseline development and management in addition to Earned Value Management processes.
  • Experience of cost and resource loading/management/forecasting within the programme.
  • Experience of applying performance measurement techniques to the programme e.g. KPIs, milestones.
  • Knowledge of\/experience in the UK infrastructure projects.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Ability to understand and utilise CAD drawings\/specifications\/schedules to facilitate build-up of the Project Programme.
  • Understanding the principles of Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and integration of mitigation actions within the programme.
  • Experience of NEC Contracts.
  • Exposure to basic principles of 4D Planning.
