Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced KS1 Class Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators.

Location: England, Greater London, Romford

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £140 - £220 Per day

Benefits: +£50 referral fee

Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Key Stage 1 students, promoting a love of learning and academic excellence.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' development and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum
Working Conditions:
