Year 2 Class Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Class Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students.
- Differentiated Instruction: Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.
- Assessment and Feedback: Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborative Planning: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience for students.
- Parental Engagement: Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and opportunities for parental involvement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1.
- Thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for delivering high-quality education.
