Deputy Local Service Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Local Service Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Deputy Local Service Manager, you will play a key role in managing, recruiting, developing, and training staff within our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop staff to ensure high-quality services are delivered
  • Promote best practice and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies
  • Support the Local Service Manager in effectively managing the void process
  • Ensure effective support systems are in place

Requirements

  • Proven management or supervisory experience in a social care environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Compassionate, understanding, and hard working with a hands-on approach
  • Good written and strong communication skills
  • Experience working with Physical and Learning Disabilities
