Job Role / Duties:

Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis, ensuring seamless inventory management and order fulfillment.

Participate in a wide variety of warehouse functions, including inbound, outbound, and stock control, to maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.

Perform tasks such as lifting stock, wrapping pallets, tipping containers, and hygiene duties, adhering to all safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.

Pick and pack leisure and garden goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers' homes, meeting high standards of quality and accuracy.

This role also offers the opportunity for temporary to permanent conversion after 12 weeks, as the client builds their core teams in a new site.

Experience Required:

The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on initiative and collaboration.

Desirable: any Forklift Truck (FLT) licenses, which can be provided through training.

Key skills include flexibility, efficiency, and a can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Shifts & Salary:

Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, with two main periods: 06:00 am - 14:00 pm and 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm.

Basic Rate:

£11.92 per hour.

Night Shift Premium:

An additional £2.18 per hour applies from 20:00 pm - 22:00 pm.

Night Shifts:

Available on Sunday night to Thursday night, with a rate of £14.10 (basic rate + night shift premium).
