New Product Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire new product development pipeline from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the new product development pipeline, ensuring comprehensive category and product lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive NPD initiatives and refine new product formulations.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and ingredients, prioritizing quality and sustainability.
  • Optimize formulas and manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery.
  • Conduct and oversee rigorous quality control and third-party testing to guarantee compliance with UK, EU, and US safety and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with the Head of Innovation to manage critical paths and achieve launch deadlines.
  • Enhance internal NPD processes and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and guidelines to continually contribute to the team's knowledge base and innovation capacity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing innovative, market-disruptive products in food, drink, or wellness.
  • Preferred experience in sourcing/identifying sustainable ingredients.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements in the UK, EU, and US.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong track record of cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with excellent task prioritization and deadline management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing formulation challenges and optimizing product performance.
  • Extensive project management experience with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
