We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our Economics Group within Newcastle University Business School. As a Lecturer in Economics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, as well as contributing to research and academic activities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assess students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Economics
- Contribute to curriculum development and review
- Supervise research projects and dissertations
- Engage in scholarly research and activities
- Participate in departmental and school-wide committees and working groups
- PhD in Economics or a related field
- Experience of teaching and assessing students in Economics
- Strong research record and potential for future research
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
