Economist Lecturer

The Role

Newcastle University Business School is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Economics Group as a Lecturer. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, as well as engage in research and scholarship that enhances our reputation as a leading business school.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in economics
• Contribute to curriculum development and review
• Supervise research projects and dissertations
• Engage in research and scholarship that informs teaching and contributes to the school's reputation
• Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including committee work and events

Requirements

• PhD in economics or a related field
• Experience of teaching and assessing students in economics
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and review
• Strong research and scholarship skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
