Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Framework Lead to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, embedding, and managing our Operational Resilience framework, tools, and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MUFG's operational resilience requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Build awareness and understanding of operational resilience across the firm, leading communications and training campaigns at all levels.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Service Owners, Resource Owners, and Operational Resilience Coordinators.
  • Identify and maintain the list of Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical & Important Functions (CIFs).
  • Establish and manage processes to monitor resilience of IBS and CIFs, including defining and managing metrics to monitor resilience.
  • Establish and manage Scenario Testing for all IBS and CIFs, including defining and maintaining the catalogue of 'severe but plausible' scenarios.
  • Establish and manage the process to assess vulnerabilities and define and deliver remedial actions.
  • Coordinate the annual regulatory self-assessment and internal governance and approval.
  • Report through governance the status of operational resilience, including preparing papers for relevant committees.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating an Operational Resilience Framework.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of both UK and EU regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience.
  • Previous experience working in the financial services sector.
  • Project Management skills, including ability to identify and resolve risks and issues.
  • Communication and influencing skills, including ability to build collaborative relationships across the business.
