Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Operational Resilience Framework Lead. As a key member of our Operations division, you will play a crucial role in developing, embedding, and managing our Operational Resilience Framework, tools, and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Operational Resilience Framework, ensuring it aligns with regulatory requirements and supports the achievement of MUFG's strategic objectives.
  • Establish and manage collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Service Owners, Resource Owners, and Operational Resilience Coordinators.
  • Identify and maintain Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical & Important Functions (CIFs), ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Monitor the resilience of IBS and CIFs, defining and managing metrics to measure their effectiveness.
  • Establish and manage the process to set and review Impact Tolerances, working closely with Service Owners to ensure they are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate scenario testing for all IBS and CIFs, defining and maintaining a catalogue of 'severe but plausible' scenarios.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and define remedial actions, supporting the business areas in prioritizing weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate the annual regulatory self-assessment and report on the ICT Risk Management Framework in line with DORA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating an Operational Resilience Framework.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of both UK and EU regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience.
  • Previous experience working in the financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in line managing direct reports.
  • Previous experience working in regulatory change programmes.
