Job Title: Provincial Ledger Assistant

About Us: At Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited, we understand the importance of accurate financial record-keeping in any organization. That's why we are seeking a skilled Provincial Ledger Assistant to join our team in Andover. As a Provincial Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing day-to-day transactions, and preparing VAT returns and other tax-related filings. You will also assist with financial reporting and support the broader accounting practice.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Processing day-to-day transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries)
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements monthly
• Preparing VAT returns and other tax-related filings
• Assisting with financial reporting and supporting the broader accounting practice

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: We are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
