Role Overview:

Absolute Taste is a leading culinary and catering company seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive our business growth. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing commercial strategies that maximise revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Commercial Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with Absolute Taste's objectives, focusing on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring commercial targets are met. Identify risks and opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Actively seek out new business opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients and suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage pricing strategies for various products and services, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Use data to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and develop new revenue streams, expanding the company's market reach and driving sales growth across different sectors.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Commercially driven with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial and business software.
