Children and Family Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Assessment and Intervention team in Tower Hamlets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of post-qualifying experience in a statutory Children's Social Care setting and be passionate about building relationships with children and families at their first contact with Children's Social Care.
Responsibilities include working as part of a fast-paced team responding to child protection needs and undertaking child and family assessments, supporting children and families through the assessment process up to co-producing step-down plans.
You will work closely with other professionals to develop excellent social work practice, leading to career advancement at your own pace.
Tower Hamlets offers a competitive salary of £42,855 - £54,135 plus travel allowance of £1,280 per annum.
