HR Team Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our HR Service Centre team at Markerstudy Group. As a key member of our HR operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of HR Assistants and ensuring seamless HR operations, compliance with processes, and effective management of HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a team of HR Assistants
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team to perform and achieve target performance
- Workload and resource prioritisation and planning
- Ensuring compliance with processes and agreed SLAs
- Supporting the HR Operations Manager with overall team management and strategy
- Driving and implementing change, including process improvements and automation
- Supporting the ER and HR Business Partner community with tasks being routed to the HR Service Centre
- Monitoring and managing HR processing with the payroll team
- Working closely with other Team Leaders to balance the workload effectively
- Leading the team with project-based tasks
- Reviewing HR process guides and ensuring they are regularly updated
- Undertaking regular performance reviews with team members against key targets and objectives
Requirements
- Strong demonstrable people management skills
- Well-organised with a keen eye for detail
- Experience of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates ability to prioritise workflow volumes
- HR project experience
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- A good understanding of HR processes and procedures would be advantageous
- Ability to present projects and information clearly and concisely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of managing when things are changed or required at short notice
