We are currently seeking an exceptional Emergency Care Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at St Mary's Hospital Paddington.

This role presents a unique opportunity for experienced nurses to further their career in a fast-paced, lively environment, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work across various areas of the emergency department, supported by our band 7 team, and develop advanced skills through training programs like Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core, and Emergency Capital Nurse courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned care for a group of patients without supervision
  • Ensure the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, individualized patient care
  • Assist and advise staff in the delivery of patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical observations of the patient and act accordingly
  • Communicate effectively and maintain a harmonious working environment
  • Demonstrate awareness of resource utilization and contribute to budget control

Requirements:

  • Level 1 RGN qualification
  • Relevant level 2 post-registration A&E course or equivalent experience
