Senior Scientist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist I to lead our Central Chocolate Productivity projects from idea scoping through to deployment stage. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will work closely with central and regional teams to provide technical support and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects in Central Chocolate Productivity, working closely with central and regional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies that support margin enhancement, manufacturing flexibility, and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, engineering, procurement, marketing) to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications, and create technical reports that require analysis and interpretation of results.
- Work with internal and external experts to identify and implement new technologies that support margin enhancement, manufacturing flexibility, and growth.
- BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Significant experience in Product Development within the Food Industry, preferably in Chocolate Confectionery.
- Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity.
- Good understanding of the functional characteristics of ingredients, processing capabilities, and how they impact the finished product to meet consumer and business expectations.
