About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our theatre team at Oaks Hospital in Colchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assist theatre staff with preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that individual needs are met and exceeded
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and flexible individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
