About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our vascular network, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality surgical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert surgical care to patients with vascular conditions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of vascular surgery services
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff
  • Participate in clinical audit and research activities
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR (CP)
  • FRCS (Vascular) or equivalent qualification
  • Higher vascular surgical qualification
  • Broad training and experience in vascular surgery
  • Experience in management of vascular trauma
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • CCT Holder
  • MD or other higher degree
  • Fellowship in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience in EVAR
Personal Qualities
  • Commitment to team approach and multi-disciplinary working
  • Counselling and communication skills
  • Up-to-date with current practices in Vascular Surgery
