About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Art Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Art Psychotherapy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality art psychotherapy services to individuals and groups across our community hubs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement referral pathways for art psychotherapy services
  • Facilitate a range of art psychotherapy interventions, including individual and group sessions
  • Provide consultation to other clinical staff and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
  • Line manage Band 7 and 6 art psychotherapists and provide clinical supervision to trainees and qualified art psychotherapists

Person Specification
  • MA Art Psychotherapy qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience of delivering specialist art psychotherapy assessments and interventions in mental health settings
  • Openness to supervisory relationships and team or professional colleague support systems

  • Experience of supervising others
