We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in a data centre environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure systems from our control room, including HVAC, electrical, and BMS/EMS systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: You will be responsible for monitoring and managing critical infrastructure systems from the control room, ensuring optimal functionality and uptime.
  • Alarm Response and Resolution: You will respond promptly and accurately to alarms and critical incidents, conducting swift assessments and resolutions as needed.
  • Inspections and Fault-Finding: Regular inspections, testing, and fault-finding on systems will be conducted to ensure they operate at peak performance.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting: Accurate records, logs, and shift reports will be maintained in accordance with compliance and operational standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication with maintenance teams, engineers, and other stakeholders will ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
  • Professional Development: Participation in training sessions will keep you current on safety protocols, operational procedures, and technical updates.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering field is required.
  • Experience and Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with BMS and EMS systems, and experience working in high-stakes environments are essential.
