About the Role

AQA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Management to lead our product development and management efforts. As a key member of our Customer and Product Directorate, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision for our product offering, ensuring it aligns with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company's vision and broader strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of product managers, guiding them in the execution of their roles.
  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps based on business and customer impact.
  • Ensure the ongoing operational viability, performance, and continuous improvement of AQA's products and associated commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer training, to support the success of our products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, students, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in product management or educational product development, with a track record of sustained success.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and mentor teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through assessment.
