Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a background in a 1st tier automotive environment and possess the ability to multitask.

Rate plus shift allowance: £p>

Suitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Team Member, and Senior Maintenance Engineer.

The Role

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will have the following duties:

  1. To maintain the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on the machinery within the site.
  2. To assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance for TPM and PPM.
  3. Fault find and repair on electrical based and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics.
  4. To replace and repair parts on all machines.
  5. Shift work and flexibility is essential.
The Person

To have experience in a 1st tier automotive background is essential and you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  1. City & Guilds Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical is desired.
  2. Has a wide experience in PLC fault finding and is electrically biased.
  3. Must be flexible working shifts (Including nights).
  4. Mechanical, electrical, electronic, software background with knowledge of working in other disciplines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as experience in fault finding and repair. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent communication skills.
