About the Role

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Redditch. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 14-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, staff, parents, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of young people.
  • Support young people in developing life skills, independence, and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
  • Valid full driver's license and access to a car.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of young people.
