Parking Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Parking Services team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and issuing penalty charge notices in a fair and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Civil Parking Enforcement Supervisor in delivering the parking services, including patrolling and issuing charge notices as required.
- Work on allocated shifts, including evenings and weekends, to ensure effective coverage of parking areas.
- Upload and download data from handheld computers and utilize Council systems to determine infringements.
- Suspend and reinstate parking bays or places, including the installation or removal of signs and notices as requested.
- Carry out checks on parking equipment and report any repairs or maintenance required.
We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of traffic regulations and parking legislation. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and communicate effectively with the public and stakeholders.
Previous experience in enforcement and issuing penalty charge notices is essential. You should also be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be able to travel to various locations across the county.
